Job Title: Senior Technical Project Manager Duration: 6 monthsLocation: Osterley What you'll do: Expertly drive planning with Engineering Teams to manage and lead technically challenging projects/deliveries, communicating Engineering commitment levels, capacity, plans and manage unplanned work Provide strategic and tactical delivery plans and impact assessments for your technical area Support and steer planning for their domains Ensure governance structures and decision-making processes are met Ensure all GPO reporting standards are accurate, audience appropriate and deadlines are met Ensure all relevant parties are aware of the teams status and progress Provide updates to the Technical Program Manager for incorporation into senior Stakeholder comms Proactively work with other Engineering teams within the department and Workstream Project Managers Identify and escalate risks; Propose and execute on strategic and tactical mitigation plans You will work with the team to ensure all the quality criteria for deployment to customers has been met and coordinate the deployment of the features with relevant teams. Ensure the team's status, key milestones and progress are accurately tracked and work with the team to identify impediments to their progress and support them in resolving these. Contribute towards and drive ways of working improvements What you'll need: 3 years large scale technology experience and provide examples where you have demonstrated the following: Solid understanding of how complex technology products are delivered by multiple global teams. Designed and implemented continuous improvement across your team. Represented function/platform/service inside of a larger org. Proven experience of monitoring, tracking of tasks and dealt with blocked items. Demonstrated ability to lead and actively participate in team meetings. Complex project level execution with minimal guidance. Ability to leverage relationships and influence with key stakeholder groups to support effective communication. Mastery use of tools such as JIRA and Confluence. Created, owned and driven a project plan or roadmap and have followed it through to conclusion, adjusting and communicating revisions as the project progresses. Managed technical dependencies across multiple engineering platforms. Managed risks, issues mitigation and escalation.
