A rapidly expanding manufacturer in North Bristol is now seeking to add a Production Planner to their team following an internal movement. Your new role
As the Production Planner, you will be reporting in to the Production Manager with a dotted reporting line in to the Factory General Manager. You will be expected to work on SAP systems, ensuring that work orders are planned and executed on time to meet customer demands. Working with very short-term lead times, some the next day and some within 5 days, you will be required to be flexible when required but also push back to internal stakeholders, ensuring that they produce the required volumes. You will be expected to build a rolling 13-month forecast, get involved in monthly S&OP meetings and work closely with the sales team to ensure all surplus product is available for them to process.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in your application for this Production Planner vacancy, you must have worked in a Planning capacity within a Manufacturing business previously. In addition to this, you must have a sound working knowledge of SAP; this will be crucial to your application. It would be highly beneficial to have worked in the FMCG / Food industry.
What you'll get in return
