NHS Highland is seeking a highly motivated individual to lead the Radiography services within its North Highland hospitals. You will be required to have excellent communication and team working skills to drive engagement across multiple teams and deliver good performance within services.

You will provide the professional leadership to the Radiography staff within the Board in collaboration with the Service Lead for Radiology and the Management Team. This role will provide expert professional, clinical and strategic leadership of the Radiology Service, including its radiography, sonography and clinical support workforce, across the sites and modalities.
In conjunction with the general management team you will assist with the delivery of National and local targets, such as waiting time guarantees, and internal organisation policy. It is essential you have The Highlands offer an excellent quality of life. It is an area of outstanding natural beauty offering a range of leisure and sporting opportunities throughout the year. Inverness is compact but has all the amenities of a modern city, including well-established road, rail and air transport links.
A relocation package will be considered.

NHS Scotland is reducing their full time working week from 37.5 to 37 hours per week from 1 April 2024 but with no change in pay. This reduction will also be applied pro rata for part time staff. This advert and any subsequent offer/contract of employment therefore reflects the new working hours. However, as not all service areas will be able to adopt the 37 hour working week immediately from 1 April 2024, you may be required to work up to an additional 30 minutes per week for a temporary period for which you would be paid until the service you are working in changes rosters or working patterns to accommodate the new reduced working week.
