Are you a skilled electrician with extensive knowledge and relevant industry experience? We're looking for an Electrical Installation Performance Coach to join us at Southport College on a full-time basis.
The role
As an Electrical Installation Performance Coach, you will make a key contribution to the strategic direction and operational effectiveness of the College, helping to meet key performance indicators and foster continuous improvement. In this varied and dynamic role, you will:
* Implement initiatives to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of apprenticeship programs
* Plan, prepare and deliver training in specialist areas
* Conduct initial and continuous Health and Safety assessments in the workplace
* Enrol, induct, review and track learners
* Assess students in vocational areas, testing their knowledge and skills
* Liaise with Assessors, Trainers, Mentors, and employers to build networks and relay key information
About you
To succeed in this role, you will need a relevant industry qualification at level 3, as well as hold an A1 Assessor’s award (or equivalent) and a V1 Internal Verification award (or a willingness to work towards one). You will also need relevant industry experience and occupational competence and can demonstrate an understanding and experience of delivery and assessment in your subject area.
