An fantastic new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Registered General Nurse to work in an exceptional care home based in the Ashton-in-Makerfield, Wigan area. You will be working for one of the UK's leading health care providers.
An inviting and purpose-built nursing home, providing the most comfortable and supportive environment for residents who require general nursing care, dementia nursing, or residential dementia care.
To be considered for this role you must be qualified as a Registered General Nurse (RGN) with a current active NMC Pin.
As a Nurse, your key duties include:
1. Working closely with the care and management team to promote high standards of nursing care.
2. Ensuring all staff are supervised appropriately and the shift runs in a smooth and efficient manner.
3. Performing all general nursing duties, following CQC and NMC guidelines, updating care plans, and administering safe medication.
4. Being dependable and flexible in order to meet the needs of the residents and the home.
The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:
1. Good knowledge of the most up-to-date clinical practices.
2. Experience of producing well-developed care plans and detailed risk assessments.
3. An understanding of regulatory frameworks, including DoLs/MCA and Royal Pharmaceutical guidelines.
4. Dedicated and compassionate, with a pride in their person-centred, thoughtful approach to nursing.
The successful Nurse will receive an excellent salary of £19.83 per hour, with an annual salary of up to £45,371.04 per annum.
