Role Description
This is a remote and flexible hours Internal Quality Assurer role at Vita Training & Development.
The role of the IQA is responsible for the internal quality assurance process in accordance with the awarding body and other regulatory bodies standards in order to ensure quality and effectiveness of qualifications attained.
The IQA is accountable for managing and maintaining all IQA processes and providing support advice and guidance to employees in relation to qualification standards, recommending measures and improvements to the performance of appointed assessors.
The IQA should identify problems and implement solution led activities to ensure that problems are rectified, and any solution led activities stabilise, monitor, and improve people or processes.

Relevant IQA and Assessing Qualifications
Relevant Health and Social Care Qualifications
Relevant Health and Social Care Experience
Experience with Ecordia (LMS Platform) is desirable but not Essential
Key Responsibilities
· advising, supporting and providing developmental feedback to assessors
· documenting the quality assurance strategy, process and decisions
· ensuring assessors interpret, understand and consistently apply the correct standards and requirements
· identifying issues and trends
· interviewing learners, assessors and other relevant staff and witnesses
· facilitating standardisation activities to ensure the accuracy and consistency of assessment decisions
· monitoring and observing the full learner journey from commencement to completion
· planning and carrying out sampling of assessed work according to a strategy taking part in continuing professional development (CPD)
