We are looking for someone who can be flexible and enjoys working as part of a vibrant team in a fast-paced environment to join us part-time in our Medical Reception Team. The successful candidate must be highly motivated with excellent communication skills, an ability to use their own initiative and work well under pressure. You will be adaptable, reliable, and an excellent team member with the ability to be assertive and multi-task while dealing with a high volume of patient contacts, alongside a strong attention to detail and the ability to find resolutions to meet the changing needs of the department.
You will need excellent IT skills and preferably knowledge of working in a GP surgery environment, ideally with experience of using EMIS Web or a similar clinical system. Knowledge of medical terminology is desirable along with proven experience in dealing with members of the public via telephone and face-to-face. You will form part of our dedicated, patient-focused Reception Team with direct support from our Clinical Team to ensure our patients receive appropriate and timely clinical care.
Working Pattern: Monday & Friday: 8:15 - 18:30 (1 hour lunch), Tuesday & Wednesday: 10:15 - 17:15 (1/2 hour lunch). Breaks are unpaid. Interview Date: To be confirmed. For further information please contact: Lisa Sydenham, Operations Manager on lisa.sydenham@nhs.net.
