Job Overview:
We are seeking multiple Workshop Fitters / Mechanical Fitters to join our clients team at Hams Hall on a 2-3 month contract. The role involves converting equipment coming into the Workshop from customer sites, with a focus on rigging, crane equipment, gland seals, and finning.
Key Responsibilities:
• Converting and assembling equipment from customer sites in the Workshop
• Using rigging and crane equipment for lifting and fitting operations
• Fitting components with a focus on gland seals and finning
• Ensuring all work is carried out to a high standard, meeting safety and quality requirements
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter / Workshop Fitter
• Strong knowledge of rigging, crane equipment, gland seals, and finning
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work to precise specifications
• Experience working in a workshop environment
• Good attention to detail and commitment to health and safety practices
