Implementation Engineer (081dm) – Heathrow, London - £25,000- £35,000 DOE The Implementation Engineer will oversee the installation and project management of smaller-scale projects, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, company policies, and client regulations. DUE TO THE NATURE OF THIS RECRUITMENT CONSULTANCY, WE ARE ONLY ABLE TO REPRESENT INDIVIDUALS WHO ARE EX MILITARY. This role will lead the implementation of assigned installations, working collaboratively with colleagues and clients to establish installation procedures and project management processes. The primary responsibility is to efficiently manage personal duties, resources, and personnel, acting as the point of escalation for installation-related issues. The Implementation Engineer will focus on mitigating project risks, managing the day-to-day operations of installations, and delivering projects successfully while working closely with service and operational functions. Key Accountabilities: •Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and prospects. •Represent the company in a professional manner at all times. •Lead the installation of assigned projects, ensuring timely and effective execution. •Collaborate with clients, fellow Engineers, and Sales team members under the direction of the Engineering Manager. •Gather financial information for assigned projects, working closely with the Finance team. •Manage procurement and liaise with subcontractors for assigned projects. •Ensure service provisioning and administration meet agreed timelines. •Monitor operational compliance for assigned projects. •Prepare and present project reports as per contractual obligations. •Organize and lead client meetings related to assigned projects. •Accurately record project assets as required. •Engage with suppliers and partners to facilitate smooth installation delivery. •Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues, ensuring timely information flow. •Ensure commercial awareness and adherence to governance standards. •Promptly escalate and resolve issues affecting project installations. •Proactively address blockers that hinder installation success, from both internal and external factors. •Be flexible and ready to take on additional responsibilities as needed. •Willingness to travel nationwide for project installations. •Foster a proactive, positive team environment. •Collect and utilize customer feedback to enhance installation services. •Build strong working relationships with the Sales team. •Collaborate with Engineering and Service teams to deliver a unified approach. •Provide consistent and accurate updates to all stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. Role Requirements / Selection Criteria: •A minimum of 4 years’ practical experience in Radio and Wireless ICT, with a focus on radio system installation or service. •Client-facing Project Management experience in a technology-driven environment. •Project management certification (desirable). •Experience delivering technology projects across multiple sectors (desirable). •Proficient in MS Project or similar applications, with the ability to build and maintain project plans. •Knowledge of compiling and maintaining RAID logs. •Ability to lead project kick-off meetings both internally and with clients. •Experience in aviation, construction, and/or transport sectors (advantageous). •Strong client-facing installation and project experience. •Exceptional communication and organizational skills. •Meticulous attention to detail with confidence in execution. •Self-motivated with the ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines. •Ability to build strong relationships within a progressive organization, representing the company in a professional manner both internally and externally.
