Aramark UK are currently recruiting a Relief Chef Supervisor to join our team covering sites from North Yorkshire down to the Midlands. Ideally you will be York-based and willing to travel, as there will be some overnight stays.
The successful candidate will be working in prison kitchens and will work alongside prisoners to support them in the production and cooking of food for up to 2000 prisoners. The Relief Chef will be responsible for preparing basic quality foods within a set pre-ordered menu. You will be collaborating with a team of Chefs; you will be motivational and have a positive outlook and excellent attention to detail.

You must have resided in the UK for the past 5 years and have legal right to work and be able to pass full security vetting and DBS checks to be eligible for this role.
You MUST be flexible and have your own reliable transportation with business insurance.

* Full time position, £15/hour, 37.5 hours per week, 5 days over 7 (no late evenings).

A day in the life of a Relief Chef Supervisor:
* Working in a large kitchen or multiple kitchens with a team of Chefs and Assistants.
* Ensuring tasks are appropriately allocated so teams are fully utilised and food preparation activities delivered using standard recipes and in line with Aramark brand standards.
* Responsible for ensuring efficient execution and delivery of all food line products in line with the daily menu.
* Maintaining integrity of the standard Aramark food offer, responsible for always maintaining food quality and integrity of items.
* Accountability for stock flow and rotation of product within the unit.
You will be set up for success if you have:
* Chef experience.
* Your own reliable transportation with business insurance.
* Lived in the UK for 5+ years with a valid right to work and be able to pass security vetting.
* Flexibility as a team player who does not mind travelling and overnight stays, if required.
