Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director, Supply Chain to manage 3PL Fulfillment Centers and to support our third-party logistics (3PL) fulfillment operations worldwide. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of supply chain management, with specific expertise in warehousing, distribution, inventory control, logistics (freight forwarding and final mile delivery). Experience within the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) and deep knowledge of retail compliance is critical. This role requires a proactive leader who can drive operational excellence and collaborate cross-functionally with IT, Finance, and Safety teams to ensure seamless and efficient operations. The individual will also play a crucial role in creating a standard, global view of all operations. Key Responsibilities: Leadership & Strategy: Help in the development and execution of a global strategy for 3PL fulfillment centers that aligns with the company’s overall supply chain objectives. Support and mentor a global team of 3PL managers, ensuring alignment with best practices and operational standards. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize warehousing, distribution, and inventory control processes. Operational Management: In conjunction with local teams, support in the tracking of performance of all global 3PL fulfillment centers, ensuring they meet key performance indicators (KPIs) related to efficiency, accuracy, and safety. Collaborate with regional teams to ensure the effective implementation and adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) across all fulfillment centers. Monitor and manage inventory levels globally, gathering financial performance with an aim to provide consistent visibility and COS reporting globally. Help create a standard, global view of all operations to ensure consistency and best-in-class practices across the group. 3PL Partner Profiles: Create comprehensive 3PL Partner Profiles that include detailed information on contract terms, warehouse capacity, inventory profiles, cost of sales, service level agreements (SLAs), and safety policies and procedures. Utilize these profiles to align global operations and set best-in-class standards across the group. Technology & Systems Integration: Help to align business processes with technical structure, data flow and connectivity by mapping out each of our 3PL’s ecosystem and how we exchange data. Support and collaborate with IT to design and deploy standard dashboards by leveraging our Business Intelligence tools. Partner with IT to identify and implement technological solutions that enhance the performance and scalability of fulfillment operations. Ensure the accurate and timely reporting of operational data to relevant stakeholders. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Finance to develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting for all 3PL fulfillment centers. Collaborate with the Safety team to ensure that all fulfillment centers comply with local and international safety regulations and standards. Partner with internal stakeholders across logistics, IT, finance, and safety to align on objectives and drive initiatives that improve overall supply chain performance. Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure all 3PL fulfillment centers comply with global regulatory requirements and company policies. Identify and mitigate risks associated with 3PL operations, including those related to supply chain disruptions, compliance, and safety. Maintain deep knowledge of retail compliance requirements to ensure adherence across all global operations. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field or 7 to 10 years of experience in supply chain management with a strong focus on 3PL fulfillment, warehousing, and distribution. Demonstrated expertise in WMS, ERP, EDI, and API systems integration. Experience within the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) or Consumer Products Industry is key. Deep knowledge of retail compliance and its application within global operations. Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and driving collaboration across IT, Finance, and Safety. Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data to drive decision-making and process improvements. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment. Willingness to travel internationally as required. Multilingual proficiency is essential for global operations and stakeholder engagement.
