About the role
As a Senior Technical Caseworker for Integrar, you will manage complex remortgage instructions through to completion in a fast-paced, professional, team environment. Remortgage instructions that qualify for the Technical Caseworker Team include transfers of equity, defective title, deeds of postponement, complex restrictions, estate rent charges, and shared ownership. The role requires knowledge of remortgages or sale/purchase conveyancing and a passion for delivering a high quality of work.
Responsibilities:
* Managing a caseload of approximately 180 new remortgage instructions per month.
* Ensure the case management system is used to process all relevant aspects of the transaction.
* Liaise with the client, borrower, and other external parties via phone and email and within agreed SLAs, ensuring all parties in the transaction are kept up to date at all times.
* Carry out title investigations, draft appropriate legal documentation, and deal with title indemnity insurance policies where required.
* Proactively drive cases forward by requesting and chasing information from third parties required to complete technical work.
* Calculate and apply appropriate Stamp Duty Land Tax.
* Deal with estate rent charge deeds.
* Check leases, including shared ownership, and liaise with freeholders, management companies, and registered providers.
* Assist with post-completion matters and ensure the lender’s charge is secured as a first legal charge.
* Work collaboratively as part of the Technical Team, supporting and providing technical guidance to other members of the department as required.
* Assist with other ad-hoc tasks as required or directed by a Team Leader/Manager.

What are we looking for in a candidate?
* Experience in a similar remortgage or purchase/sale conveyancing role.
* Experience in dealing with estate rent charges and shared ownership schemes is desirable.
* Strong commitment to client care and providing a friendly and helpful service.
* Ability to take ownership of a volume caseload and work in a high volume environment.
* A self-starter with a ‘can do’ approach to work, used to demonstrating initiative, intuition, and decision-making capabilities.
* Affinity for learning/using technology, particularly experience of using a case management system is beneficial, and training will be provided on how we leverage technology for efficiency.
* An ability to work in a demanding environment, working to strict deadlines and within Service Level Agreements and other targets.
* Demonstrates a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, ensuring that processes and procedures are followed accurately.
