We want to hear from a talented individual with strong leadership skills who has the vision and skills to become the Head of Service for Finance, Transformation & Support Services. The successful candidate will support the Director of the Health and Social Care Partnership and the Chief Executives of North Ayrshire Council and NHS Ayrshire and Arran to deliver our ambitions for Integrated Health and Social Care Services in North Ayrshire.
As a Chief Officer, the successful candidate will have a strategic leadership role supporting service transformation and delivering high quality services against a backdrop of increasing demand and a challenging financial climate. We pride ourselves on the strength of relationships and commitment to integrating services, this role is key to lead the strategic financial management and planning for the £320m budget available to the Integration Joint Board to deliver our ambitions.
You will demonstrate extensive experience at a senior management level in a health and/or social care organisation and have the ability to create inspiring and innovative solutions.
The post has a challenging remit with responsibilities including developing the long-term financial and resource strategy and undertaking the role of Section 95 Officer for the Integration Joint Board and Health and Social Care Partnership. Alongside this having responsibility for the transformation programme and support services teams for the HSCP. You will be an effective communicator with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships, being a team player and a key member of the HSCP leadership team. You will be able to demonstrate experience in the implementation of change, excellent people management skills, effective partnership working, integrity and sound ethical judgement. You will be enthusiastic about working in partnership with our community partners and stakeholders to deliver the best outcomes for people in North Ayrshire.
