About the Role: Our client, a well-established housing support service in Renfrewshire, is looking for a motivated and experienced Service Coordinator to join their team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for coordinating housing support services for individuals, ensuring that they receive tailored, high-quality support to help them live independently. You will work closely with clients, support teams, housing providers, and other external agencies to ensure services are delivered effectively and efficiently. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate housing support services for individuals across the Renfrewshire area, ensuring their needs are met in a timely and effective manner. Conduct needs assessments and develop person-centred support plans to help individuals maintain their independence. Lead and supervise a team of support workers, providing guidance and ensuring the smooth delivery of services. Liaise with external partners, including housing providers, social services, and community organizations, to ensure seamless service delivery. Monitor and review clients' progress, adjusting support plans as necessary to achieve the best possible outcomes. Ensure that all records and documentation are kept up-to-date and in line with service policies and regulatory standards. Promote compliance with relevant legislation, procedures, and best practices. Provide regular reports on service performance, client progress, and any challenges to senior management. Skills and Experience: Proven experience in coordinating housing support services or a similar role in social care, housing, or support services. Knowledge of the challenges faced by vulnerable individuals in housing and support services. Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with clients, staff, and external stakeholders. A proactive approach to problem-solving and service delivery. A good understanding of relevant legislation and regulations within housing and social care. A qualification in social care, housing management, or a related field is highly desirable.
