What will I be doing?
Not one day is the same as the next in CCF branch life, but here are a few pointers:
1. Our success is built on strong relationships with our customers so it’s essential that you can help deliver the highest standards of service - the key thing is to be helpful and friendly at all times, you will likely get to know our customers on a first name basis.
2. You will be based inside, processing our customer orders, answering the phone, keeping stock and facing up shelves.
3. You will also be dealing with supplier deliveries and accurately book them in the branch.
4. Full training is provided to use our systems and a coach will be assigned to help you on your development programme for the first 12 months.
5. Safety is at the forefront of everything we do, your aim will be to ensure that our standards never slip, this means maintaining a tidy and safe working environment.
What we are looking for?
Ideally you will have previous experience in a similar phone based role with great customer service skills and able to relate to loads of different people. Self motivated, enthusiastic and organised, you will also have good numerical skills. However, with this apprenticeship, we are willing to take on someone with a completely different background. As long as you have fundamental customer service and transferable skills, anyone can be successful in this role.
