Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon - Permanent/Fixed Term We have an exciting opportunity for a small animal veterinary surgeon to join our team - the role is permanent but this could also be a fixed term contract if preferred. Our practice has 3 branches, one in a lovely seaside town We are close to Plymouth city, Bodmin, Dartmoor and beaches – ideally situated for exploring Devon and Cornwall. We ensure full support is given for career progression, whatever stage of your career you are at, from being a new graduate to a certificate holder we can offer a safe, collaborative team in which to learn and develop your skills. We all have a genuinely caring attitude towards clients, patients, and each other and most importantly we have a fun and friendly team Rota Standard week 4.5 days- 8.30am-5.30pm, 8.30-12pm half day, with one late shift a fortnight 10.30am-7.30pm. We do offer flexibility and part time hours possible. Our consultation times are 20 minutes, longer if needed, we have a dental x-ray and good in house lab, separate dog and cat wards and waiting areas. 1 in 10 weekends on call with 3 days TOIL. The practice is only open 9-1pm on a weekend, however a nurse is on site 24 hours. 1 in 6 Saturday morning. Salary 33-60k dependent on experience. Bank Holidays worked on a Rota but TOIL given for any worked.
