The university wishes to recruit a post-award Research Services Administrator within the Faculty of Natural Sciences. The main task of the role will be to provide specialised support to the closure process of research grants and contracts. The activity will be across a varied portfolio of Research Funders including UK Research & Innovation, Other Governments Departments, European Commission, Industry and Charities.
What you would be doing
This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with genuine interest in supporting scientific research to gain wide ranging experience within a Higher Education environment.
What we are looking for
The ideal candidate will have previous knowledge and experience in administering a portfolio of research awards through the project lifecycle. The candidate will be a strong team player, with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. They should be able to work well under pressure, often to tight deadlines and be able to demonstrate strong financial skills.
