SERVICE ENGINEER - SCOTLAND (EDINBURGH REGION) - PERMANENT POSITION
We are seeking a skilled Field Service Technician with expertise in electrical and mechanical systems to install, maintain, and repair industrial safety products at customer sites. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with electrical wiring, mechanical troubleshooting, and technical support for safety equipment such as emergency shutdown systems, gas detection devices, fire suppression systems, and other industrial safety solutions.
Installation & Commissioning: Install and set up industrial safety products, ensuring compliance with manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
Maintenance & Repairs: Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting on electrical and mechanical components of safety systems.
Technical Support: Diagnose and resolve issues with industrial safety equipment, including wiring, sensors, control panels, actuators, and alarm systems.
Customer Training: Provide on-site training to customers on system operation, safety protocols, and troubleshooting procedures.
Maintain accurate service records, reports, and work orders for all maintenance and repair activities.

Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
Experience: 2+ years of experience in field service, maintenance, or repair of industrial equipment.
Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and customer service orientation.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work in industrial environments, and perform fieldwork in various conditions.
Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license required for travel to client locations.
