We have an exciting opportunity for an International Patient Advocate to join our BANK staff here at The London Clinic, based at our main hospital site in London (W1G 6BW). We are offering a competitive salary of £15 per hour.
Established in 1932, The London Clinic is one of the UK’s largest private hospitals, with 8 state-of-the-art facilities, and circa 1350 employees where we are dedicated to providing our patients with expert, individualised treatment and care. Our main hospital spans 8 floors comprising of 150+ patient beds and 10 operating theatres, including a Hybrid theatre and two minimally invasive/day surgery theatres. Specialty areas include General surgery, ENT, Gynaecology, Hepatobiliary, Neuro-spinal, Ophthalmic, Orthopaedic, Plastic and reconstructive, Robotic, Urology, Vascular & Weight loss surgery (bariatric surgery).
Job Profile
To provide an exceptional level of customer support to international patients and their families and engender loyalty by being courteous, knowledgeable, available and efficient.
* Job Type: BANK
* Shift Pattern: We operate a flexible shift pattern (Early & Late shifts), covering the service from Monday to Sunday.
* Job Location: 20 Devonshire Place, London, W1G 6BW (Close to Regents Park/Baker St tube stations).
* Salary: £15 per hour
Key Duties
* Establishing any specific needs of the patient in advance of their appointment or admission, where possible, and provide continuous services to that patient and family throughout their Clinic journey.
* Assisting patients and their families with local information and facilitating communication with the concierge companies engaged by the Clinic.
* Working in parallel with the international Patient Coordinators to update them with patient requests and additional treatment authorisation requests from clinical & non-clinical teams.
* To work as part of the international office to provide a seamless customer-oriented service for international patients at The London Clinic by proactively anticipating patient needs.
* Meet and greet for new patients including registration for new outpatients and admissions ensuring that there are accurate home address details, email and phone contacts.
