You’ll be involved in the development, delivery, and optimisation of data assets across our data lifecycle and solutions, engaging with application teams and consumers. We’re here to go the extra mile for our customers, and we’ll be here for you too, ensuring you can build on your skills and forge a career of achievement. please note In TB this role is known as Associate Systems Engineer What you’ll be doing Working alongside colleagues within our Smarter Decisioning Platform team to deliver excellence through data within the Ops Engineering team. Working as part of a talented team on scheduling, operating and automating the data flows which create the business used marts within the bank. Being on the front line of Operations Engineering, interfacing with business-facing teams to help ensure we give the best service possible. Demonstrating extensive problem-solving skills, reporting queries and analysis Working alongside senior engineers to aid your learning and development. Contributing to embedding an agile mindset and approach focused on improving outcomes. Focusing on safe delivery of data alongside a mind towards continuous improvements and automation. Being innovative and suggest improved ways of working while collaborating with other colleagues to ensure the best solutions are delivered. Identifying and resolving risks and issues across our services and processes, as well as operating controls that are defined within our governance framework. We need you to have A bachelor’s degree in computer science, statistics or related field OR experience in an Analyst role. SAS experience SQL Skills Linux Github And if you have any of these, even better An interest in learning new data techniques and technologies. A desire for continuous improvement. An analytical and creative mindset with strong attention to detail. The ability and initiative to learn and research new concepts, ideas, and technologies quickly.
