Job Description:
The National Account Manager is responsible for achieving profitable sales growth at customers for the KIND business. This role is expected to maintain strong relationships & best execute customer plans that deliver objectives of revenue, growth, profit, product/assortment, everyday shelving, merchandising, pricing, promotions, and seasonal merchandising.
What are we looking for?
This role is responsible for achieving profitable sales growth through creating and executing the KIND strategic plans for Asda & Coop, which contribute consistently to the unit’s NSV and/or has potential for significant future growth. This role is accountable for maximizing customer and category performance. With full P&L responsibility, this role is accountable for developing and maintaining strong and influential relationships and collaborating internally with key stakeholders to deliver first-class insights and solutions which help devise and execute mutually beneficial joint business plans and deliver sustainable growth.
* Extensive experience in Sales and Marketing for Fast Moving Consumer Goods Industries.
* Prior Retail Account Management experience.
* Understanding of forecasting, data sets such as Kantar and Nielsen, and trade management systems.
* Hybrid role with 2 days spent in our Farringdon Office.

* Strong Sales experience that includes selling, negotiating, and leveraging insights to deliver tailored customer plans, achieving company and customer objectives and advancing category leadership.
* The successful candidate will have an innovative and entrepreneurial spirit and enjoy driving outcomes that do not always have a clear roadmap.
* Execute all agreed solutions with customers to include accurate, timely forecasting and detailed follow-through.
* Manage customers' trade funds that comply with internal and external requirements and continually improve the effectiveness of spending.
