Job Description:
Hours: 8 hours per week. Saturday and Sunday 10.30am-2.30pm
Hourly rate: £12.00 per hour
Job Purpose:
The Hospitality Assistants work closely with the Head Chef (Village) and Chef (Village) to provide a food and drink service in a welcoming, clean environment for our residents/customers in our village cafe.
Key Results:
1. Creates a welcoming environment for residents and customers in our village restaurants with a focus on customer service and providing a wide variety of food and drinks.
2. Builds a rapport with residents.
3. Serves customers using the EPOS.
4. Responsible for day-to-day cleanliness, hygiene and washing up after a food service.
5. Safely closes down the kitchen at the end of the day in line with protocols in preparation for the next day. Removes waste.

Other Skills and Qualifications:

* Barista trained.
* Diploma (or NVQ) level 1 Catering/Food Service or equivalent.
* Experience of working with older people.
* Experience using an EPOS.
