I am looking for a personal assistant to support me with various activities. Someone who has worked in a specialist school would be ideal however this isn't required but a lot of experience is. I am an active child with lots of energy, so will need a PA that is active to keep up with me. I particularly like people with a playful nature that can get into character with imaginative play. Though I have my favourites, I am open minded with activities, sometimes I need to be given options to choose, but not too many as this can become overwhelming for me. We could be going to the beach, swimming which I like to do a lot, I will be attending swimming lessons, visiting clubs, cinema, play areas, indoors and outdoors, going out on bicycle rides, gaming, puzzles. I am very passionate about Pokémon and could talk about the various types and their characteristics for ages. On occasion I will need support with personal care, context can be given during phone interview, prior to in person interview if successful You will need to be passionate about getting to know me as an individual, what works and what doesn't, get to know my quirks, triggers and techniques to support me. Support should be collaborative, in accordance with my EHCP, school and parent, consistency, familiarity and predictability are important. Reliable Patient Summary terms and conditions: · The rate of pay for this position is £12.50 per hour · Hours and times of work: 104 hours annually, on average 2 hours per week arranged flexibly ahead of time. During term time there may be lesser need for support and during school holidays the hours may be increased. · The annual holiday entitlement for this position will be equivalent to the work I would normally expect to be done during 5.6 consecutive weeks · This position requires the employee to complete the following free annual training: GDPR, Health and Safety and First Aid.
