Develop, manage & continuously improve the co-ordination, communication and execution of a relevant tailored contract marketing plan that drives positive student/consumer engagement, sales and profit through the management of the experience for the students and staff on campus. Key performance indicators will be built around sales and profit growth, average transaction value, participation on campus, and student satisfaction and engagement.
More About The Role
Development of a tailored contract marketing plan built by using the central marketing team's promotions and initiatives as a base, meeting the needs of the student base/student groups of the institution, which will include the planning and execution of:
1. Responsible for the onsite catering van in conjunction with the chef team in terms of promoting the van and operating the van on key events.
2. A plan to drive participation and growth of the key categories, including a programme of activity and promotions, liaising with students and customers to gain insights – any site-specific promotions or activities must all be signed off by the central marketing team if these are required.
3. Delivery of food concepts/pop ups to maximise participation, spend and satisfaction.
4. Activity to maximise the opportunity of events & key dates, school and boarding house-specific events including Open days, House Event days, sporting events and high-profile events.
5. Develop and implement a communication and engagement strategy to support the marketing plan to inform, promote, communicate and continuously engage with the student and staff population, which will include the planning and delivery of:
1. Digital communication, accessing as many channels as possible through relationship building.
2. Feedback mechanics, forums and focus groups.
3. Core menu and hospitality launch events.
4. Student and staff satisfaction surveys.
5. Monthly reporting to client on marketing initiatives within the period.
6. Creation of monthly newsletter.
Develop and adopt measurement models to benchmark and monitor the success of all activity in the marketing plan, looking at specific KPIs around sales, average transaction value, participation satisfaction, and follow up feedback, measure ROI from the engagement activities and report results on a quarterly basis to client and Site Contract Director.
