An exciting opportunity has arisen for the position of Operating Department Practitioner (ODP) or Registered General Nurse (RGN) with an anaesthetic module at Kings Mill Hospital and Newark.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic individual to join our well-established team of practitioners who possess experience in ENT/Ophthalmology and General surgery scrub duties.
Kings Mill Hospital boasts 14 operating theatres, with an additional 2 at Newark, along with a minor operations suite. Our areas of coverage encompass various specialties including Obstetrics, Emergencies, Upper GI, Vascular, Breast, Urology, ENT, Ophthalmology, General, Colorectal, Orthopaedics, and Gynaecology.
Your responsibilities will include attending resuscitation calls, ECT lists, cardioversion lists and intra/inter-hospital transfers. On occasion, you may be asked to work at our Newark Hospital site.
Moreover, staff development is a top priority for us. You will collaborate closely with the Clinical Education Department Leader to facilitate training in accordance with NMC/HCP standards and codes. This ensures that competency packs and our skills matrix remain current and up to date.
