Technical Staffing Resources (TSR) are the in-house agency and master vendor for KBR, a leading global engineering, construction, and services company.

We are looking to recruit a Senior CAFM Developer for a 12-month contract, based in Leatherhead, Surrey.

Purpose of the Role
We are seeking an experienced Developer who will be responsible for designing workflows, automations, and triggers within our CAFM component. Additionally, the person would have previous line management experience of leading teams, managing and mentoring their workloads and their career development – here the emphasis will be on technical mentoring only.
Responsibilities
1. Support and maintain the CAFM product operated by helpdesk and our clients, with oversight for the APIs that integrate the CAFM product to FM supplier systems and integration with the bespoke application used to support invoice processing.
2. Investigate and resolve complex incidents and problems and be responsible for the technical design of changes in a release and mentor other developers on the development of the changes.
3. Test, debug and promote responsibility for all CAFM workflow and data integration.
4. Investigate and resolve issues with the hosted CAFM product and bespoke API solution.
5. Input into all temporary and enduring technical documentation required to develop, test and handover technical deliverables to BAU support.
Experience
1. Experience working on a variety of software development projects simultaneously.
2. Mentoring a team of software developers.
3. Experience creating, testing and deploying optimized and logical code through multiple environments.
4. Troubleshooting deployed code and bug fixing.
5. Designing, coding and testing code/statements in line with functional requirements.
6. Demonstrable experience working to deadlines and creating technology in tight timelines.
7. Experience of scrum teams & sprint ceremonies.
8. Experience supporting agile best practices (code reviews, unit tests, TDD).
9. In-depth knowledge of IT systems including a general knowledge of software development and software and hardware architecture.
10. Knowledge of database schema, preferably SQL database schema.
11. Knowledge of system interfaces, especially API interfaces.
12. (Preferred) Some knowledge of CAFM products, particularly MRI Evolution and Workflow Pro OR similar experience developing database-driven automation to deliver business outcomes.
Technical Skills/Knowledge
1. (Must have) Experience as a software engineer working on web-based database-driven applications using a variety of programming languages, if/then statements, and sub-routines.
2. (Must have) Ability to learn new languages/coding structures quickly and efficiently.
3. (Should Have) Experience of writing Visual Basic (VB) Script code.
4. (Could Have) Experience with MRI Evolution Workflow Pro OR similar native automation product in a commercial CAFM system.
