A small but growing publishing business is looking to hire an experienced SME Interim Finance Manager for a 3 - 6 month basis while they recruit a permanent candidate.
Responsibilities
The Interim Finance Manager will be expected to hit the ground running to complete a handover period with the incumbent and hold the fort while recruitment for a permanent candidate is underway. Day to day responsibilities will include:
* Monthly management accounts, with reporting and analysis presented to SLT
* Year end audit support
* Budgeting and forecasting
* Revenue recognition
* Weekly cash flow reporting
* Business partnering - Working with client services team, sales and legal and procurement
* Management of two Finance Assistants (AP/AR and Credit Control)
The Successful Candidate
* Experience in an SME environment - being involved with 'hands on' work such as making payment runs, chasing invoices, payroll
* ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified with experience in industry
* Someone with a keen interest in the publishing industry, with an interest in the values of the business
What's On Offer?
* Daily rate between £300 - £350 per day - Inside IR35 via umbrella
* Chance to work in a new industry, as the client is open to background experience
* 3 - 6 month interim contract with the potential for a temp to perm role
