EEAST is seeking candidates with excellent demonstrable analytical and problem-solving skills and advanced IT skills to join the team as an Information Analyst.
This is an exciting opportunity to assist the current Informatics team in providing essential reporting and analytical support to Directorate Managers and Clinical staff in relation to Service Planning, Performance Monitoring and other statutory / required NHS returns. Ensuring that information provided is timely, relevant and accurate according to NHS Data Standards and Trust procedures.
We are the first NHS Trust to be flowing datasets into a Microsoft Azure Data Lake and beginning to produce Microsoft PowerBI reports from this, enabling the trust to have one single source of the truth.
We currently use Microsoft PowerBI along with other reporting tools to allow Trust Staff self-service insight into our data, so this is an excellent opportunity for someone willing to learn new business intelligence tools.

As well as good analytical and problem-solving skills, suitable candidates will demonstrate:
• Good knowledge of relational database theory and its application
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Good planning and organisational skills to meet tight deadlines.
• Ability to analyse and present data in a way that clearly tells a story.
This role has no staff responsibilities and no budget responsibilities.
Post holder will be able to work from home but will need to attend the office 1-3 times per month, in line with Trust Covid guidance.
