Summary
We are looking for an experienced Financial Controller to play a key role in the financial operations of The Oxford Health Company, an ambitious and growing nutraceutical business. Reporting to the Finance Director, you will oversee day-to-day finance functions, including budgeting, payroll, financial reporting, and cash flow management. This role is crucial in ensuring our financial health as we continue our rapid expansion.

What will you do?
As Financial Controller, you will be responsible for:
* Supporting the Finance Director in managing the company’s financial operations.
* Overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning to support business growth.
* Managing payroll and ensuring compliance with tax regulations and company policies.
* Preparing quarterly management accounts and financial reports for internal stakeholders.
* Ensuring accurate cash flow management and financial forecasting.
* Overseeing tax compliance, quarterly VAT returns, and statutory reporting.
* Improving financial controls, processes, and efficiencies within the business.
* Managing relationships with auditors, banks, and external financial partners.
* Supporting business decision-making through financial analysis and reporting.
* Ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments, proactively following up with suppliers to obtain necessary invoices, and monitoring outstanding liabilities to maintain smooth financial operations.
* Working closely with the company’s external accountant, who currently handles key financial tasks, to ensure smooth collaboration and effective financial management.

What We’re Looking For
* Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) or qualified by experience
* Experience in a Financial Controller or senior finance role, ideally within manufacturing, FMCG, or a related industry.
* Strong budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis skills.
* Hands-on experience with payroll, tax compliance, and financial reporting.
* Ability to implement financial controls and improve operational efficiencies.
* Excellent communication skills and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
