We are currently recruiting for a leading Repatriation business based in Central London who are looking for someone to join their close-knit team as a Repatriation Consultant/Assistance Coordinator.
As a Repatriation Coordinator, you would act as a facilitator and liaison between all parties involved in the repatriation of a deceased person, liaising with the bereaved family and/or insurance company. In this immensely rewarding position, Consultants receive and process instructions from Insurance companies and Funeral Directors, compile and issue quotations and organise the repatriation with the international network of agents, airlines, customs agencies and service providers. This position will work closely with the UK based operations team, co-ordinating activities and providing administrative support as required. Occasional travel to Embassies and Consulates might on occasion be required.
We are seeking a well presented, competent and confident communicator who is eager to learn with excellent attention to detail. Given the sensitive nature of the role, a caring and compassionate individual is required and due to the global dimension, additional language skills would be highly preferable although not essential.
Hours:
* Mon – Friday 9-5pm in London + occasional on call
* There will be around 21 days per year where the person would need to do the on call in the evening but this would be done from home. (included in the salary) When someone is on call in the evening they work from home that day and for weekends they work from home on Friday and the weekend. That accounts for around 22-28 days per year.
* Around 7-8 weekends per year to do the on call (working from home) with addition of £350.00 per weekend plus a day off. Bank holidays, are paid at additional£175.00 per bank holiday plus a day off in lieu.
Experience:
* Medical Assistance/Repatriation or Insurance experience highly desirable but not essential
