Salary up to £60,000 depending on experience Location Miskin A Facilities Maintenance Manager is required to support and develop multi-disciplinary teams at Miskin for the provision of services to the site for planned maintenance & property repairs and to support customer requests for reactive and planned works in a timely manner & obtaining positive feedback from customers in terms of responsiveness, communication and quality. The successful candidate will also have responsibility to ensure building compliance is adhered to and maintenance contracts are in place where required & co-ordination of sub-contractors is essential, with Health & Safety paramount in all activities. Responsibilities Co-ordinate multi-disciplinary teams at Miskin, ensuring completion of tasks to time, cost, and quality requirements. Line management & leadership of the teams, providing coaching and development to ensure training plans are completed. Financial control for the site cost centres, monthly departmental reporting & stock management. Building compliance & management of sub-contractor activities. Health & Safety, Risk Assessment & Environmental controls. Key requirements A Degree or HND in an engineering or scientific discipline or the ability to demonstrate comparable applied knowledge and expertise through experience. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills coupled with the ability to get on with people and to work as part of a team. Good technical awareness and understanding of design functions, engineering and construction processes. Experience of risk management Good computer literacy and familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, particularly, Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Person specification Requires a high level of attention to detail, demonstrates good initiative and an ability to implement continuous improvement, self motivated and flexible.
