Assistant/Trainee Quantity Surveyor
This is a great opportunity for a Assistant/Trainee Quantity Surveyor to join a leading civil engineering contractor and work on some exciting civil engineering projects in the Ipswich area, on surfacing projects.

Key responsibilities for this Assistant/Trainee Quantity Surveyor role
• Co-ordinating with, reporting to and implementing the reasonable directives of the Senior Quantity Surveyor
• Ensuring prompt and regular submission of main contract payment applications and subsequent cash collection together with the preparation of sub-contractor payments
• Ensuring the timely submission of all relevant data required to monitor and analyse individual contract performance on a monthly and quarterly basis thereafter
• Involvement in dispute avoidance/resolution
Experience required for this role:
• Graduate/Trainee candidates will be considered
• Surveying Degree or equivalent qualification / experience
• Good knowledge of standard forms of contract
Package offered for this Assistant/Trainee Quantity Surveyor role:
• Up to £28,000 negotiable based on experience
• Excellent pension
