Marketing Assistant, Telford, Shropshire to £27,000
This is a great opportunity for a Marketing Assistant to join a leading manufacturer in Telford. As a member of the marketing team, the Marketing Assistant will support in the delivery of marketing plans in line with company strategies and objectives. This will involve assisting the Head of Marketing and Product Development to achieve key company targets including growth, market share, and brand awareness. You will also manage digital communication channels, including e-mail, website, and social media whilst aligning customer digital channels with current marketing collateral, images, and brand content.
Main Responsibilities
1. Assist in the formulation of brand and marketing strategies consistent with division and company goals and objectives.
2. Assist in the creation and execution of short, medium, and long-term marketing plans ensuring plans and activations are delivered on time and to budget.
3. Assist in the development of creative solutions and marketing assets across all marketing channels working in collaboration with the marketing team, external agencies, and internal Graphic Design.
4. Support the implementation and launch of new products including full communications to internal and external stakeholders.
5. Help co-ordinate the activities of external agencies (Advertising, PR, Design, Social, Digital) to ensure that activity is consistent with marketing plans and sales team specific activations.
6. Support and guide the UK and International Sales teams with digital marketing requests and exhibitions, ensuring brand collateral is produced on time and to budget.
7. Utilising Klaviyo, build the database with new subscribers and develop e-mail communications and automated flows targeting Foodservice division customers and end users.
8. In conjunction with external agencies, develop content plans for Foodservice digital channels.
9. Carry out any reasonable task requested by the Head of Marketing and Product Development.
Education, Skills, Experiences, Professional Knowledge
1. Degree educated or equivalent marketing experience.
2. Minimum 1-year B2B or B2C marketing experience.
3. Ideally, an understanding of the food or manufacturing market landscape.
4. High attention to detail with the capability to process and action multiple marketing activities.
5. Digital marketing experience essential.
6. Experience of using e-mail communication platforms essential e.g. Klaviyo, Mailchimp, Hubspot, Zoho.
7. Good communication, planning, and presentation skills.
8. GDPR legislation compliant.
9. Development and activation of digital communications.
10. Development of communications to support brand/product awareness.
11. Development and activation of marketing support specific to the sales team.
