DESCRIPTION We are looking for a talented Quality Team Leader to join our team specializing in Quality for our Logistics Centre in Daventry, United Kingdom. This is a permanent role, working Monday to Friday on weekly rotational shift patter: - 6:45am - 14:45pm - 15:00pm - 23:00pm In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways : - Supporting Engineers: You'll assist engineers with production-related and inspection tasks, ensuring smooth operations and high-quality output. - Quality Monitoring: By monitoring material quality in processing plants and making necessary adjustments, you'll help maintain high standards. - Documentation Maintenance: Ensuring accurate documentation and records will support compliance and traceability. - Defect Identification: Comparing physical characteristics of components and products to technical specifications will help identify and address defects. - Conducting Tests: Performing simple tests on electrical functions, reliability, and packaging quality will ensure product integrity. - Technical Reporting: Recording results and preparing technical reports will provide valuable insights for continuous improvement. - Customer Assistance: Assisting customers in understanding product specifications and measurement data will enhance customer satisfaction. - Equipment Maintenance: Ensuring proper maintenance and calibration of measurement and test equipment will keep operations running efficiently. RESPONSIBILITIES To be successful in this role you will need the following: - Leadership Skills: The ability to lead and manage a team of Quality Auditors effectively, ensuring workload distribution and adherence to standards. - Quality Monitoring Expertise: Proficiency in monitoring quality KPIs and ensuring proper maintenance and calibration of measurement and test equipment. - Communication Skills: Strong communication skills to ensure clear handovers and updates between shifts using email and Teams. - Measurement Science and Quality Process Management: A solid understanding of measurement science and the application of quality tools and methods to ensure the quality of products, processes, and services. QUALIFICATIONS Education/ Experience - Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience. - High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations. - This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
