Percival are excited to be working with the brilliant theatre charity The Big House to help them appoint a new Trusts Fundraising Manager.
The Big House is a charity that supports care leavers through theatre, helping them build confidence and life skills. They offer workshops, mentorship, and performance opportunities to aid personal growth. They have a community of over 500 people and are transforming peoples lives through the power of performance. TBH has members working across companies like Netflix, BBC and Amazon too.
Title: Fundraising Manager
Salary: £37,000 - £40,000 per annum
Working Pattern: Full Time
Contract Type: Permanent
Location: Hackney, London. Hybrid up to 3 days from home (Following Probatory period)
Direct reports: Fundraising Executive
This key role within the fundraising team will lead on securing major funding bids from trusts and foundations, which make up a significant portion of The Big House’s income. You will take ownership of multi-year grant applications, renew major funding streams, and refine the case for support to drive future fundraising success. Income streams will also include Statutory, Government, Institutional, and Lottery.
To be successful in this role, you will:
* The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in trust fundraising, particularly securing and maintaining five- to six-figure multi-year grants
* Be skilled in maintaining and growing existing income streams
* Have excellent grant application writing skills, both independently and as part of a team
* Demonstrate a proven ability to secure and manage 5-6 figure grants
* Line management experience is ideal
