Rarely have I been on a factory tour where the work force is as happy to engage as they were on this visit. This is a great foundation for you to build on…
There is a real honesty and positive feel to this site. It is a heritage business (almost years and counting) but the energy coming from the new Site Lead down means it has an exciting future.
Change is happening all around us, which can sometimes feel alienating. The companies that are doing it most successfully are the ones that have people at that centre and therefore this is where you come in, as a people-centric HR Manager that can help navigate this business through ongoing change.
You will work with this business leading a number of projects but also take the lead on wider group initiatives (and as this business comes closer together it will offer up further career opportunities for your next move). HR is taken seriously by this business and the Site Lead, and you will be instrumental in helping chart the course in the short, medium, and longer-term elements of the site and broader business.
Due to the nature of the business, you will need to have a background in a fast-paced, generalist HR environment. Over and above this ideally CIPD but the key skill is someone who likes to be kept busy and make things happen. If you feel you have that right balance between getting things done but in a professional and respectful manner, that will see you fit in well here.
FMCG, Manufacturing, Logistics, Hospitality etc will be valued from an industry experience point of view. Being busy can be hard. But it’s much better than not being busy, especially when there is so much positive work to be done here – send your CV across today to learn more.
