Principal Responsibilities
1. Passionate about the H&S of yourself and colleagues highlighting any concerns through raising Hazards & Near misses
2. Ensure product quality is optimised through carrying out and documenting regular checks on paperwork and integrated IT systems
3. Maintains Food Safety and Hygiene Standards through adopting and using Good Manufacturing Practices
4. Once trained - Operate and maintain production line assets across site
5. Actively support line/product changeovers
6. Excellent communication and teamwork skills within your team and other functions.
7. Accurately complete all reporting and recording procedures applicable to designated tasks.
8. Understand site KPI’s and own role in delivering them
9. Complete basic machine asset care
10. Challenge the Status Quo – Look at all opportunities to improve performance
11. Monitor, control and look to improve all waste streams within your control – Product/Time etc
12. Open to developing new skills and competencies
General Responsibilities
13. Understand and take an active role in site Operational Excellence including 5S, AM and Practical Problem Solving (PPS) to drive continuous improvement activity throughout the site
14. Demonstrate behaviours which are in line with the site values & help to improve the Quality, Safety & Environmental culture.
15. Support the business in working towards delivering our ethical trading and human rights vision.
16. When engaging with internal and external stakeholders (such as consumers, customers or suppliers) maximise any potential opportunities to communicate Princes’ ethical trade and human rights approach.
17. Supporting other teams improvement plans by completing tasks required, be part of the bigger picture in driving improvement in site KPI performance

18. Experience of working in FMCG environment
19. Understanding of factory safety and hygiene procedures
20. Understanding of continuous improvement work practices
21. Possess the ability to work productively, efficiently & effectively with initiative
22. To work under pressure whilst maintaining attention to detail and quality.
