Role Purpose: The Project Manager – Events is responsible for the end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of high-quality events that align with client objectives and brand values. This role ensures operational excellence, budget management, and seamless event logistics while maintaining exceptional customer experience.
Accountabilities:
1. Operational:
1. Plan, manage, and execute allocated events to the highest professional standards.
2. Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure successful event delivery.
3. Provide detailed and professional event logistics services, adhering to Brighter’s “Ways of Working” policy.
4. Maintain a thorough understanding of customer brands, objectives, and key stakeholders.
5. Support with tender processes and contribute to customer development plans.
6. Identify and pursue upselling and cross-selling opportunities for Brighter’s event management services.
7. Ensure a full understanding of contractual agreements, including any SLAs in place.
2. Compliance:
1. Uphold and promote adherence to all information security policies.
2. Ensure completion of mandatory annual training.
3. Support Business Continuity Plans (BCP) by participating in required testing and compliance activities.
3. Performance Expectations or KPIs:
1. Consistently meet and exceed all internal and external SLAs.
2. Drive financial performance within the customer portfolio by maximizing revenue and efficiency.
3. Deliver high-quality service and customer experience, ensuring repeat business and client satisfaction.
Experience, Knowledge and Skills:
1. Minimum of 3 years’ experience in event management, with the previous 3 years specifically in Events.
2. Proven ability to manage a diverse portfolio of events, from conception to execution.
3. Strong financial acumen with experience in budget management and financial performance optimization.
4. Expertise in client relationship management and stakeholder engagement.
5. Ability to identify and capitalize on business growth opportunities within event management.
6. Proficiency in event logistics, planning tools, and risk management.
