Role Summary
As the Director of Community Energy Programmes & Energy Advice, you’ll be at the forefront of delivering and expanding these essential services, leading a team that supports thousands each year. You’ll guide programme strategy and help extend services nationally, ensuring sustainable and lasting impact for those in need.
Key Responsibilities
* Programme Leadership : Drive the successful delivery of energy advice, advocacy, and community initiatives, ensuring that all projects meet quality, timeline, and budget requirements.
* Team Empowerment : Inspire and develop team members, providing clear expectations, training, and support to achieve exceptional service outcomes.
* Strategic Development : Collaborate with stakeholders to design new programmes that expand the organisation's reach and influence across the country.
* Stakeholder Engagement : Foster strong relationships with local, regional, and national stakeholders to promote programme impact and leverage support.
* Financial Oversight : Work with financial leaders to maintain programme budgets, supporting sustainable growth and ensuring effective use of resources.
Qualifications and Experience
* Minimum of 3 years in leadership within the energy or social sectors, specifically in roles addressing vulnerability and providing critical support services
* Proven ability to manage large-scale programmes and budgets exceeding £300,000
* Experience with stakeholder management, securing funding, and successful bid submissions over £100,000
* Excellent communication and people management skills
