The Contracts Team within the Quality, Contracts and Safeguarding Adults Service is responsible for managing contracts with commissioned service providers for Social Care and Public Health services that support the citizens of Lancashire.
We are currently looking for a full-time Contract Assurance Officer to join the Non-Residential Contracts team to manage a portfolio of contracts.
The post is ordinarily based in County Hall, Preston. The post holder will work to Lancashire County Council agile working practices, which include working from home and from the office in County Hall, Preston. You must be able to use your own initiative and be flexible with where you work. There will be a requirement for the post holder to travel across the area/county as required.
The team is responsible for receiving and analysing intelligence regarding service providers commissioned by Lancashire County Council. The team also conducts on-site monitoring exercises and contract reviews to enable them to make informed decisions on contract performance and the quality of care and service that is being delivered, addressing poor performance where necessary.
You will be responsible for the management of Contract Monitoring Officer/s, ensuring that work is delegated appropriately, as well as taking the lead on any escalated concerns and quality improvement work as required.
The Non-Residential Contracts Team is responsible for managing the contracts between the Authority and Social Care Providers, which include Domiciliary Care, Reablement, Crisis, Extra Care, Day Care, Carers, and Advocacy.
