Job Title: MFL Teacher (French KS3-KS4, Spanish KS3)

Salary: £30,000 - £46,525 per annum (depending on experience)

Position Overview: As an MFL Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences in French to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students, as well as Spanish to Key Stage 3 students. This role is ideal for an experienced educator who is passionate about languages and has a strong understanding of language acquisition principles. You will have the opportunity to inspire and motivate students, helping them develop their language proficiency and cultural awareness.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Plan and deliver engaging and interactive lessons in French to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students, and Spanish to Key Stage 3 students.
2. Provide support and guidance to students as they develop their language skills in listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
3. Create a stimulating learning environment that encourages cultural exploration and cross-cultural understanding.
4. Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their development.
5. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum plans and schemes of work.
6. Participate in departmental meetings, parent consultations, and school events as required.
7. Stay informed about current trends and advancements in language teaching and learning.
Qualifications and Experience:
8. Qualified teacher status (QTS) and relevant degree in Modern Foreign Languages or a related field.
9. Previous experience teaching French and Spanish at the secondary school level.
10. Strong subject knowledge and a passion for promoting language learning and cultural exchange.
11. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
12. Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 14.3% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
