Reports to: Director of Quality and Commissioning
AESC is currently seeking a Commissioning HVAC Manager for a significant Engineering-Procurement-Construction project. This project entails the development of groundbreaking production lines on a large scale, surpassing previous limitations. Outline and Responsibilities:
1. Prepare detailed commissioning plans and procedures for assigned responsibilities.
2. Systemise project commodities, processes and identify system boundaries for each.
3. Update drawings, systemisation, and check sheets as changes occur through revisions, tag changes, RFI’s.
4. Request closure of punch items from Construction, 3rd Party Contractors.
5. Assure all punch listed items are completed and closed out.
6. Assure handover documentation to Manufacturing / Operations / Facilities.
7. Monitor construction activities in preparation for executing commissioning activities.
8. Coordinate with appointed 3rd party contractors for upcoming walk downs and completion of punch items prior to scheduled walk downs.
9. Coordinate handover walk downs between all stakeholders.
10. Verify with QA team the quality of contractors pre-commissioning activities.
11. Support design reviews in their discipline.
12. Perform engineering design review of HVAC dry systems for high technology facilities including cleanrooms, general manufacturing/process facilities and institutional facilities.
13. Collect, coordinate, and structure the Clean and Dry Room design requirements from the factory users, across all teams and engineering disciplines.
14. Work closely with the project team and other disciplines as well as other design offices.
Experience and Qualifications Required:
1. Master’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
2. At least 7 years of experience working for globally leading companies in supervising and managing the construction of large industrial projects ($100m+ capex).
3. Advanced knowledge and proven delivery on Engineering for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing scopes.
4. 3+ years of working experience in clean room production.
5. Very good knowledge in HVAC systems with a focus on clean room technology.
6. Knowledge of ISO14644.
7. Understanding of the potential implications of design changes/site instructions in relation to the key aspects identified above.
8. Excellent written and verbal communication in English, along with strong presentation skills.
9. Ability to work within a high-performance, cross-functional organisation with challenging timelines, budgets and goals.
10. Capability to work in a close, multi-faceted team environment.
11. Inquisitive and open attitude to exploring new ideas with a willingness to continuously learn.
12. Ability to train and mentor colleagues on best practices for project management and execution.
