Job summary Tendring PCN is looking to recruit an advanced clinical practitioner or advanced nurse practitioner to join our multi-disciplinary team, to help us transform and modernise pathways of care, enabling the safe and effective sharing of skills across traditional professional boundaries.The role is offered on a fixed term contract until 31/03/27, for 37.5 hours per week. The successful candidate may come from a range of professional backgrounds. As an experienced healthcare professional, educated to masters level, they will have developed the skills and knowledge to allow them to take on an expanded role and scope of practice caring for patients. Main duties of the job demonstrate a high level of expertise within the specialist service providing advice, education and support to staff, patients, their families and carers. be practising autonomously as an advanced clinical practitioner within the designated speciality area to provide patient-centred clinical care. support new ways of working that emphasises a more efficient and patient-focused service, and will ensure the safe treatment, referral and discharge of patients with undifferentiated and undiagnosed presentations in their area. have responsibility for leading the on-going development of clinical practice and standards of care within the service, including the development of policies, procedures, protocols and guidelines in collaboration with multidisciplinary colleagues.
