Key Responsibilities:
1. To provide a highly specialist neuropsychological and psychological assessment service to patients referred internally to the Neuropsychology Service.
2. To provide and/or support the provision of evidence-based neuropsychological and psychological interventions for service users at various sites. This will include working with individuals, groups, couples, and families where appropriate.
3. To provide highly specialist neuropsychological/psychological advice, guidance, and consultation to other professionals contributing directly to clients' formulation, diagnosis, and treatment plan.
4. To carry out professional duties and responsibilities in the following areas: clinical practice, service development, teaching and training, work with other agencies, consultancy, and/or applied research and service evaluation.
5. To contribute to service development within the Neuropsychology Service/Pathway that pertains to neuropsychology and/or psychology.
6. Support the development of psychological services through the supervision of other qualified psychologists, trainee psychologists, and assistant psychologists.
7. To undertake risk assessment, risk formulation, and risk management for clients and to provide advice to other professions on psychological aspects of risk assessment, formulation, and management.
8. Clinical supervision of Trainee Clinical Psychologists and Assistant Psychologists in the Neuropsychology Service/Pathway.
