Now that consultation for phase three has ended and initial appointment into roles has taken place, we are able to commence recruitment into 2 Community Matrons to work alongside the Operational team for the Adult Mental Health, Access Service and Primary Care Network Team. The service offers a range of clinical interventions both with rural and urban areas for working age adults. There is a strong MDT approach within the teams and the role of the Community Matron will be to have oversight and support clinical governance, champion the role of the nurse and ensure high quality care is provided.
