Job Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Estates and Facilities Department in Hartley Hospital for an enthusiastic team member for a Facilities Management Assistant (FMA) Domestic. The post is suited to a motivated and experienced domestic services worker. The post holder will provide a cleaning/catering/housekeeping service for our inpatient unit ensuring National cleaning standards, PLACE requirements, and CQC standards are met.
Main Duties of the Job
The Facilities Management Assistant (Cleaning and Catering) will work as part of a team at Hartley Hospital to carry out cleaning and catering duties and help maintain the high standards set within this department in line with National Standards.
We are looking for a team member who has a flexible approach to their workload, can work to deadlines, and shows high standards of quality in their work. You will be expected to carry out a full range of cleaning duties.
Good communication skills, a pleasant personality, a positive attitude, and a willingness to work within an acute mental health ward environment providing a high standard of cleanliness at all times are essential. You must also possess the ability to work within a team or independently as necessary, with an understanding of health and safety in relation to safe working practices.
Some experience in a similar role would be beneficial; however, full training will be given.

Qualifications
