We need you to support and help children and young people, between the ages of 2 - 25 years, with special educational needs (SEN) get to and from educational setting, ensuring they have the opportunity to learn, have fun and make new friends.
If you live in Hampshire and would like to make a difference by sparing a few hours in the morning and afternoon to support children and young people we have the role for you. You'll give them the chance to make the most of their day. This role suits people who are looking to boost a fixed income and do something worthwhile at the same time. We have no upper age limit on recruitment.
No formal qualifications are needed, just a natural rapport with children and young people, alongside an awareness and understanding of special educational needs. You are provided with full training and support, giving you the skills and knowledge to undertake your role.
You won't need your own transport, and you won't need to drive as you will be picked up and dropped off to your own front door. You'll also be able to enjoy the school holidays as this is a term time only post.
This is a permanent post, hours per week will vary depending on the route. Our core times are Monday to Friday morning and afternoon during term time typically between the hours of 7:00am-10:00am and 2:00pm-5:00pm.
