About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to oversee operational security governance and subject matter expertise across the Accounts Cluster of sites.
This is a key role in ensuring the CGF (Contract Guard Force) complies with all regulatory requirements for securing the organisation’s physical buildings, assets and personnel.
The Operations Manager ensures that physical security performance is monitored, measured and reported against the client’s standards, in a cycle of continuous improvement. You’ll also help train and develop the CGF, fostering strong client relationships while innovating and implementing new security solutions.
You will build and sustain strong and long-lasting relationships with the client and maintain frequent contact with the client’s InfraOps Security Team. You will be comfortable providing the client and Cluster Account Manager with real value which includes actively proposing and helping to implement new and innovative solutions.

It is important to note that due to the nature of this opportunity candidates must be willing to undergo eDV (Tier 4) Level Security Clearance
You'll be working 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
Salary is starting at £48,000 per annum (plus a car allowance), it will then rise to £54,000 per annum (plus car allowance) after 6 months / upon achievement of eDV (Tier 4) Level Security Clearance
Job Opportunity
Your responsibilities will include:
* Lead with Integrity, Vigilance, and Helpfulness to safeguard assets and personnel.
* Manage CGF Supervisors and oversee staffing levels, training, and performance.
* Communicate complex security issues to all levels and provide critical decision-making in high-pressure situations.
* Ensure compliance with Health & Safety policies, conduct risk assessments, and actively foster a culture of recognition.
* Engage in investigations, disciplinaries, and proactive site management to maintain a high-performing team.
* Engaging with all levels of management and communicating complex technical issues to a range of audiences.
* Out of hours escalation if required.
* The role will be instrumental in the delivery of operational excellence to the entire cluster.
* To assist the Protective Services Branch Manager and Cluster Account Manager in minimising the Direct and Indirect costs of the Branch.

Essential Skills
Essential:
* SIA Licensed
* Right to work in the UK with a 5-year checkable history.
* Any formal qualification in Security Management or equivalent experience in a military or law enforcement, or corporate organisation would be extremely advantageous.
* Strong knowledge of project management, resources allocation and cost control.
* Full clean driving licence and must be flexible to travel when required.
* Education to GCSE standard or equivalent (to include Maths/English) as a minimum.
* eDV (Tier 4) Level Security Clearance or must be willing and able to undergo and achieve this.
Desirable:
* Higher education or formal Management qualifications.
* A clear understanding and track record of UK Government and Public Sector experience.
