Job Title: English and Maths GCSE SEN Outreach Tutor
Location: East of England, Essex, Hatfield Peverel
Job Type: Temporary, Part-Time
Primary Industry: Education and Training
Job Duties:
* Provide individualised support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in English and Maths GCSE subjects
* Create and implement tailored lesson plans to meet the unique learning needs of each student
* Deliver engaging and interactive teaching sessions both in person and online
* Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
* Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to student development
Required Qualifications:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience working with students with SEN
* Strong knowledge of the GCSE English and Maths curriculum
Education:
* Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
Experience:
* Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a similar role
Knowledge and Skills:
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual student needs
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* Proficient in using technology for online teaching
* Experience in conducting assessments and creating individual education plans
Working Conditions:
* Part-Time hours, flexibility required to meet student needs
* Work may involve travel to different locations within the East of England (learners homes, local libraries and schools)
* Opportunity for remote teaching sessions
