Qualifications / Training
Essential criteria
1. General medical Qualification e.g. MBBS, or equivalent and hold a Licence to Practise.
2. Membership of the Royal College of Anaesthetics or recognised equivalent in any other country.
Desirable criteria
3. Qualification or higher degree in medical education, clinical research or management
4. Additional clinical qualification
Eligibility
Essential criteria
5. Must be in possession or within 6 months of possession of a CCT in Anaesthetics.
Clinical Skills, Knowledge & Experience
Essential criteria
6. Excellent knowledge in specialty
7. Evidence of effective multidisciplinary team involvement.
8. Excellent clinical skills using bio-psycho-social perspective and wider medical knowledge.
9. Make decisions based on evidence and experience including contribution of others.
10. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Desirable criteria
11. Teaching Experience
12. Wide range of specialist and sub-specialist experience relevant to post within the NHS or comparable service.

26. Experience of carrying out an audit project
27. Experience or involvement in a research project and publication
28. Ability to supervisor junior medical staff and/or other staff from the MDT to undertake research projects
